He was predeceased by: his parent John Bruce; his daughter Angela; and his brothers, John "Sonny" Bruce Jr. and Richard. He is survived by: his parent Mary; his wife Annie Hailstalk; his children, Veronica Van Buren (Mark) and Ronald Hailstalk Jr.; his grandchildren, Monica Frias (Gabriel) and Raychel Robinson; his great grandchildren, Mariah Frias, Alyssa Frias, Vanessa Frias, Christina Frias and Jason Frias; and his siblings, Reginald, Douglas (Delores), Terry, Jean, Delyour, Suzanne and Valerie.
