He was predeceased by: his parents, Torrey and Marta; and his brothers, Ralph "Wendell" Covert, Harold "Lefty" Covert and Nick Covert.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Julie Demelo; his sons, James, Lisa Cerda and Daniel; his granddaughters, Kinley and Emma; his children, Adrian, Jocelyn of Madera, CA, Matthew, Amanda, Torrey and Hannah; and his sister Linda Wellbrock of Grants Pass, OR. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren.
