She was predeceased by: her father Leroy Wise; her husband Thurman J. Murphy Sr.; her son Thurman J. Murphy Jr.; her mother Florence L. Whitaker; and her stepfather Percy Charles Whitaker.
She is survived by: her children, Yollanda F. Griddine (Rodney) of Altus, Brenda Scott of Oakley, Diana R. Hanna (Roosevelt) of San Antonio, Timothy L. C. Murphy (Nephertiti) of Fairfield, Danielle Garcia of Merced, California. and Sidney Murphy of Merced, California.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Due to COVID 19 Merced County regulations there will be a drive thru visual procession with Facebook live streaming on Thursday, April 30, 2020 from 12:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B Street, Merced, California.
