She was predeceased by: her husband Kelts Coleman; her daughter Judy Shaw (Coleman); her former husband Lonnie Sconyers; her parents, Carter Ward Whatley and Corresta Anna Marie Ricketts; and her siblings, Tommy Whatley and Marilyn Williamson (Whatley).
She is survived by: her son John Coleman; her sisters, Patty Cash and Evadean Hamilton; her granddaughters, Kayla Coleman and Andrea Coleman; and her great grandchildren, Parker Martinez Hernandez, Maison Martinez Hernandez and Kennedy Martinez Hernandez. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
