It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfredo Vera (Atwater, California), born in Weslaco, Texas, who passed away on December 5, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Malissa Vera Akard of Merced and Alfredo Rios Vera Jr. of Merced; his siblings, Enrique Vera (Chato), Ruben Vera Sr. and Elizabeth Trevino; his parents, Raul Vera and Domitila Vera; and his siblings, Louie Vera and Esther Pena. He is also survived by children, his nieces and nephews, as well as many grandchildren.
