Watson (Atascadero, California), born in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 4, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Negranti Watson; his parents, Robert Watson and Lillie Watson; his siblings, Margie Battles (Floyd), Esther Ferguson (Frank), James Watson and June Watson; and his niece Pamela Battles.
He is survived by: his children, Joy, Dave Watson (Olivia) of Atascadero, Joyce Watson of Paso Robles and JuLee Rocha (Ray) of Atascadero; his nephew Doug Battles (Ruth) of Redway, CA; his nieces, Nancy Cox (Doug) of Pueblo, CO and Linda Blackburn (David) of White House, TN; his grandchildren, Melissa Watson of Atascadero, Becky Watson of Atascadero, Nick Weir of Paso Robles, Heidi Weir of Paso Robles and Scottie Yanaga of Paso Robles; and his brother-in-law Robert Negranti of Morro Bay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
About a dozen years ago, he was diagnosed with dementia / Alzheimer's Disease, and with his family's love, support and care-giving, he was able to manage his daily activities, mostly independently.
