With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Neil Edgar Jr. (Arvin, California), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on October 9, 2024 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Neil Edgar Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Neil Edgar Sr. and Helen Nell Edgar; his brothers, Michael David Edgar and Alan Dale Edgar; his grandparents, Orman Rudolph Edgar, Gladys Elaine Edgar and Samuel Jackson Malone; and his parents-in-law, William Jasper Albertson and Margaret Joan Albertson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Kristen Dion (Alex), Michelle Bishop and Steven Edgar; his grandchildren, Addison, Silas, Charlotte, Vincent and Logan; his sisters, Leslie Rodrigues and Laura Gagneaux (Adam); and his aunt Carolyn Spain (David). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bakersfield National Cemetery (30338 E Bear Mountain Blvd, Arvin, CA 93203). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at 4800 Fruitvale Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93308.
