He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Maxwell Harris and Mary Bessie Harris; and his siblings, James, Gerald, Wilbur and Linda Kay Ford.
He is survived by: his close friend Trinidad Stellmacher of Bakersfield; his sister Mary Joan Truman of Laguna Niguel, CA; and his children, Robert Dale Harris (Sylvie) and Nada Joyce Yorke (Richard) of Washington. He is also survived by several grandsons, one great-grandson and three great granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Patino Hall (425 30th St, Bakersfield, CA 93301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Bakersfield National Cemetery (30338 E Bear Mountain Blvd, Arvin, CA 93203).
