We bid farewell to Betty Jean Harmon-Westerfeld of Arvin, California, born in Casa Grande, Arizona, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 18, 2025 at the age of 88. Betty Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Johnson and Eva Johnson; her former husband Leroy E. Harmon; and her husband Bill Westerfeld. She is survived by: her children, Kristen McLaughlin (Phil), Terri Downs (Steve) and Kevin Harmon (Karin); her sisters, Norma Silva (Frank) and Patricia Heerd (Fred); her sister-in-law Kathleen Giles (Carl); and also, David Westerfeld (Sue) and Tammy Reynolds (Bill). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Betty's memory to Hoffman Hospice & Palliative Care, 4325 Buena Vista Road, Bakersfield.
