It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerrie Van Der Hoek of Artesia, California, who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Markus Mueller; her brothers, Louis and Ted Mensonides; and her siblings-in-law, Eleanor, Terry Mensonides and John R. Jacobi.
She is survived by: her husband Jelle Van Der Hoek; her children, Michelle Mueller, Michael Van Der Hoek (Kari) and Jay Van Der Hoek (Beverly); her grandchildren, Grace, Sarah, Charlotte, Hannah, Annaliese, Jacob, Reed, Thys, Reagan, Eric, Aaron and Andra; and her siblings, Pete Mensonides, Corrie Jacobi, Raymond Mensonides, Jimmy Mensonides, Letty Mensonides and Clara Mensonides.
