He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leola May (Whitehead) and Rudolf Swan Watje; his wife Cecilia Watje; his siblings, Norma (Ron Edwards), Jack Watje (Barbara) and Glenn Watje (Bonnie); his children, Eric Watje (Betty) and Tina (Tom Creel); his grandchildren, Beth (Andrew Elliott), William Watje, Scott Creel and Kevin Creel; and his great grandchildren, Daniel and Adeline Elliott.
