He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurelio Sala and Maria Sala (Guidi). He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his sons, Michael, Stephen (Jessica) and Mark (Amme); his grandchildren, Jade Klingler and Hank Sala; his brother Aldo; his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Van Paul and John Grisetti (Gloria); his nephew David Van Paul; his brothers, Andreino, Silvo, Emanuele, Serafino, Severo and Renato of Italy; and his brother-in-law Brian Van Paul.
He died October 4, 2020 from Alzheimer.
