With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willa Speers (Arcata, California), born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on July 2, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin Miller and Ruie Miller; her children, Carl, Dwayn, Loreda and Linda Speers of Peanut, California.; her grandchildren, Darin (Cindi Speers), Rob (Monica Speers), Tammy Richards, Regina (Stephen Pineschi), Heather Kauffman, Heath Kauffman, Denise (Jason Little) and Jeff Wood; her brother Donald Ray Miller of McKinleyville; her husband Orville F. Speers; her son-in-law Robert G. Kauffman Jr.; and her siblings, Clarence Miller, Rector Miller, Paul Miller, Odell Miller, Jewell D. Miller, Nettie Bee Davis, Betty Lou Breshears, Pauline Cockman, Wayne Miller, Kenneth Miller and Joyce Miller. She was also cherished by 17 great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces.
Due to the current Covid-19 guidelines the family had a private ceremony at Sunset Memorial Park.
