It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria C. Valadao (Arcata, California), who passed away on August 12, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Alfredo Valadao; her son Jose Duartino Valadao; her children-in-law, Adelia Valadao and Manuel De Rosa; and her children, Mary Rosa, Maria J. Valadao (Antonio) and Virgil Valadao (Heidi). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
