She is survived by: her children, Shirley Stone and Paul Gonsalves; her grandson Trevor Stone; her sister Ana; her brother-in-law John DeMatos; her siblings, Maria Cristina Almeida and Joe Sousa; and her sisters-in-law, Deolinda Sousa and Cecilia Mendonca. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
