Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ina Lipman Harris (Arcata, California), who passed away at the age of 99, on February 11, 2022. She is survived by: her sisters, Marilyn and Norma; her spouse Noel E. Harris; her children, Niels Pearson (Gloria) of San Clemente, Gail Pearson of Helsinki, Finland and Leigh Bradford of Iowa City, IA.; her stepdaughter Rachel Harris (Bruce Hobson); her grandchildren, Nikki Pearson (Ryan Fink), Leif Pearson (Genie), Lauri Gardner, Esko Gardner (Ida), Cole Bradford Hotek and Weston Fink; and also, Bob, Sointu and Taito Gardner.
Due to an autoimmune disease that developed in recent years, followed by several falls, and then the social isolation brought on by Covid, she eventually became homebound.
Donations may be made in Ina's name to Eureka Rescue Mission, Eureka NAACP, Humboldt Library Foundation, or a charity that reflects Ina's lifelong dedications.
