He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mizia and Veronica Mizia; and his siblings, Walter Mizia, John Mizia, Frank Mizia and Mary "Geri" Levandoski.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Mizia, Diane Cranor (Jeff), Susann McDaniel, William Mizia and Joan; and his grandchildren, Patrick Cranor (Amy), Collin Cranor (Samantha), Leigh Mary Cranor, Andrew McDaniel (Erin), Cole Cranor and Aden Cranor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
