“When Celeste was very young, she lived in Los Angeles and attended Sierra Park School. We knew each other via school activities until her family moved to Alhambra. I, too attended Sierra Park and was in a Girl Scout troop in nearby Emery Park school where she went. Our friendship continued through those years, and another friend (Shirley Dyer Hargrave) and I had lunch with Celeste several years ago. Long ago friendships are sweetly remembered, and this is one of them! Jo Macdonald Huner”
