It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darryl F. Gillis of Aptos, California, born in Oakland, California, who passed away on May 19, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Gillis of San Francisco and Kathrine Silva of Hanford; his wife Norma A. Gillis; and his daughters, Cydney L. Gillis of Everett, Wash., Cheryl J. Robock of Needham, Mass., Susan M. Ackbury of San Carlos, Calif. and Jennifer A. Gillis of San Francisco, Calif.. He was also cherished by six grandsons.

Remembrances may be made in Darryl's memory to the American Cancer Society.
