She was predeceased by: her husband Ron Ison; her significant other Lucy; her parents, William Brower and Thelma Brower; her sister Kay Bushner; her sister-in-law Phyllis Brower; and also Chiweenie.

She is survived by: her siblings, Jim Brower and Sandy Crosier; and her brothers-in-law, Gale Crosier and Fred Bushner. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and their spouses; Danielle Gibson (Mike), Brandon Neeley, Amanda Varela (Manny), Brian Neeley, Brittany Mohrlock (Tyler), Rachel Conner, and Erik Ison; eight great-grandchildren.

Shirley Jean (Brower) Ison, born August 12, 1939 passed away May 31, 2018 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
