Jesse Cruz Jr. Obituary

Jesse Cruz Jr. January 21, 1958 - December 13, 2021.

Jesse was was born in Corpus Christi, Tx and raised in San Antonio until 1969 when his family moved to San Pedro, CA.

Jesse was well known for his humor and had a joke for everything and anything. He succeeded at whatever hobby he would start until the next hobby came along which were many.

He served his country joining the Army in 1976 and continued to serve in the National Guard Reserves until 2000. He worked as a Longshoreman until his retirement in 2015. He moved from San Pedro to Apple Valley in 2014 where he lived with his family until his death.

He is survived by his wife Lilya and their five children: Andrew; Raymond; Michael; Vincent; and Angelina; one grandson Ezra; his father Jesse G. Cruz; stepmother Magdelene; sisters Corina Lopez (Robert); Carmela Ortega (Jose); Carolina Micallef (John); 9 nephews and 12 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother Maria Luisa Cruz; his older sister Idolina Lollie Hinojosa (Robert); and his younger brother Vincent Cruz.

VIEWING & MASS will be held on Monday January 10, 2022 at Victor Valley Mortuary 15609 11th St. Victorville, CA 92395 from 5:00pm - 8:00 pm.

BURIAL SERVICE will be on Tuesday January 11, 2022 at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA 92518 at 2:00 pm.
