He is survived by: his parents, Harry Childress and Carolyn Childress; his wife Carrie Patricia Childress of Apple Valley; his son Edward Andrew Childress; his daughter-in-law Rachel Ann Brumfield; his grandson Oliver Isaac Childress of Medford, Oregon; his sister Jane Lindner of Bradenton, Florida; and his niece Freda Chrispen of Clearwater.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 15757 St. Timothy Road, Apple Valley on Friday, December 14 at 1:00 P.M. Donations in memory of Harry may be made to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church or to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

You may not know me but my name is William Clifton Mansfield, III - Cliff. Harry's mother was my Great Aunt and the sister of my Grandmother Frances Mansfield. I have the fondest memories of all of them in West Palm Beach, Florida.
