Charlotte Downard Phillips Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte Downard Phillips of Apple Valley, California, who passed away on April 12, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Clayton Phillips; her parents, Josephine Downard and Fred Downard; and her brothers, Art and Ralph Downard.

She is survived by: her children, Ann Balsterholt (Werner), Mary Jane Phillips and James Downard Phillips (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Angie Ertz (Kevin), James W. Balsterholt (Melinda), James A. Phillips (Ciera) and Robert Clayton Phillips (Shelby); and her great grandchildren, Abby Ertz, Dillion Ertz, James David Phillips and Charlotte Mary Phillips. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
