He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Elisha and Louise Ethel Davis; his child Stockton; his wife Nancy Poindexter; his children, Peggy Smith (Carey), Cheryl McClure (Tim) and David Hall; and his grandchildren, Hannah Foote, Michael McClure, Emily Putnam, Shannon McClure and Abraham Smith. He was also cherished by eight great-grandchildren, and eleven nieces and nephews.
