He was predeceased by: his daughter Barbara (Skaggs); his parents, Tom and Bessie (Patterson); and his siblings, Edward 'Jiggs', Raymond, Donald, Dorothy (Thompson), Betty (Sudduth) and Wanda.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy Ohran; his daughter Kathy (Dave); his grandchildren, Jeffery Skaggs Jr. (Mallory) and Melissa; his great grandchildren, Will, Gage and Codie; his sisters, Joyce Ferguson, Ann Ziegler (Mike) and Mary Vandergroen; and his nephew Fred. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
