He is survived by: his brother Bil Morgan; his former spouse Beverly Morgan; his daughters, Stephanie Morgan and Misha Morgan Dunford; his son-in-law Will Dunford, Jr.; his grandchildren, Cole and Morgan Dunford; his siblings, Juanita Morgan, Rosalyn Morgan and Charles Upshaw; and his extended family, Shelton Morgan, Kirsten Upshaw and Regan Upshaw.
Immediately before his passing, Philip was asked to participate in a documentary focused, in part, on his contribution to the history of Bay Area Radio.
