She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam McDowell and Lee Bess Dailey; her spouse Price Holbert; and her son Bernard Holbert. She is survived by: her children, Sondra Moore (Luther), Keith Holbert, Karl Holbert and Sharon Holbert; and her grandchildren, Kendra Tyson (Mahir), Adrian Holbert, Karl Holbert, Jr. (Ashley), Keith Holbert, Jr. (Maria) and Jamario Holbert. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Higgins Chapel (1310 A St, Antioch, CA 94509). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (892 36th St, Oakland, CA 94608). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery (5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA 95620).
