He is survived by: his pet Deva; his children, James Wesley Perry (Melissa), Lovie Rechelle Perry (Avery Guillory), Daniel, Celeste and Rochelle Wigham; his siblings, Sarah Davis, Barbara Baines, Vonda Williams and Donnie Perry; and his grandchildren, Eric Green, Monique Perry (Austin Wilkerson), Mo'ney Green and Maurice Green Jr.. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
