He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Villarreal; his son Joe Villarreal; his parents, Eduardo Villarreal-Gonzalez and Delfina Gonzalez; and his brothers, Eduardo (Lalito) and Rodolfo Villarreal (Rudy).
He is survived by: his brother Roberto Villarreal (Maria Elena); his son Eduardo Villarreal; his daughter-in-law Joanna Villarreal; his grandchildren, Jen Cassar, Erica Ramirez (Saul), Tori Bell (Jaromy) and Daniel Villarreal (Lindsay); and his daughter-in-law Joy Jordon-Leaver. He is also survived by step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
