Marlene Esther Giesecke Obituary
The passing of Marlene Esther Giesecke of Anderson, California leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 10, 2024 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Marlene Esther may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Davis and Ellen Davis. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia McAninch, Ron Giesecke and Denise Bethany; her sister Kathleen Lund of Omak Washington; and her former husband Hugh Isaacs.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Assembly of Redding (8595 Airport Rd, Redding, CA 96002). In 2020 during the appalling Covid lockdowns, Marlene fell and broke her femur, resulting in the need for surgical remedy.
She donated blood up until the moment she no longer could; she held records at North State Blood Center for the amount of plasma that she managed to donate over a period of many years —decades even—and it would probably fill up a Midwestern grain silo if it was ever calculated.
