He is survived by: his wife Lynette King (Barangan); his son Noah; his mother Aurelia; his sisters, Sharon Benz (Marc) and Carol Dunaway (Curtis); and his nieces and nephews, Erika Alorro (Romeo), Nicholas Herrington, Ashley Pinell (Marcelo) and Cameron Dunaway.
Newton was blessed with the gift of life three times: initially from his mother, next from an anonymous donor who provided a kidney, and finally through his late brother, William King, who also donated a kidney during his battles with kidney failure.
