It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie West of American Canyon, California, born in Independence, Kansas, who passed away on June 8, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Trimble and Neva Jean Trimble (Daley); her husband Alton "Bill" West; her sons, Edward and Douglas; her siblings, Hazelle, Shirley, Gloria and Gordon; and her grandson Phillip.
She is survived by: her daughter Tina Kramer (Bill) of American Canyon; her granddaughter Christina Sweatman (Jeremy) of Napa; her great grandchildren, Nathan and Megan; her grandchildren, Bryan Kramer (Adrienne) of Citrus Heights and Tiffany Kramer of Vacaville; and also, Aaron and Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, it was Janie's wish that donations be made to the Marine Corps 1st Division Association Scholarship fund.
