With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon L. Machado (Alameda, California), born in Oakland, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Medaglia (Joe) and Alfretta Medaglia (Lawrence); and her husband Ken Machado. She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Tony), Mike and Tony (Valerie); her grandchildren, Kristin (Ted), Angela (Jason), Rachele (Jonathan) and Collin; her great grandchildren, Maddie, Wesley, Avery and Maia; and her brother Thomas Medaglia (Patricia).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM. A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Funeral Service. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip - Neri Church (3100 Van Buren St, Alameda, CA 94501).
