He was predeceased by: his daughter Lan Beales; and his brother Trung-Thăng Phạm. He is survived by: his wife Ngọc-Lan Trần; his children, Hương Uhr (Jeff), Thu Uhr and John-Paul Phạm (Hương); his stepchildren, Ngọc-Sơn Lu (Khanh), Hương-Lan Lu, Thái-Sơn Lu (Thủy) and Minh-Nhật Trần (Nhi); and his sister Ngọc-Nguyệt Phạm. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and dear friends.
