She is survived by: her husband John Schuitema; her stepchildren, Ankie, Emo and Sandie; her grandchildren, Christopher (Krista), Andrea (Kaitlin) and Jonathan (Grace); and her siblings, Arend and Ina. She is also survived by nine nephews and nieces.
Donations can be made to Smile Train, an organization very dear to Johanna.
