With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lewis of Alameda, California, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on October 25, 2021 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Lewis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ben Lewis and Marion Lewis (Leach); his brother John Stephen Lewis; his aunt Catherine Caffee; and his mother-in-law Bernice Warnke.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lewis; his daughter Reverend Maggie Lewis of Hamilton, Montana; his sister Catherine Lewis of Bellaire; and his aunt Dora Lee Henry of Abilene.
Attendees must be fully Covid vaccinated and wear masks when gathering indoors per local health department guidelines.
