It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan R. McKeown (Alameda, California), born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joanne Highiet McKeown; his children, Leslie McKeown Philbrook, Richard Philbrook and Daniel James McKeown; his stepchildren, Lisa Highiet, Melinda Crawford and Douglas Highiet; his grandchildren, Sara, Adam Crawford, Nicholas and Shannon Philbrook; and his great grandchildren, Jordyn and Taylor Wallace.
As we all continue to shelter in place for safety during the COVID pandemic, we ask that everyone who remembers Al celebrate his life in their own way…raising a favorite cocktail in his memory and yelling "Go Sharks!" would be quite appropriate.
