We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, at the age of 80, Tanya Joyce Cooper (Yuma, Arizona) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfreda C. Hill and Carl Stone; and her brother Ronald Hil of Parker, AZ.. She is survived by: her children, Twana Simar (Bradley) of Port Arthur, TX, Preston Miller, II (Yanessa) of Belmullet, Onawa Miller of Roanoke, VA, Adina Alvarez (Leo) and Andrea Chaipos; and her grandchildren, Zachary Stelly (Nicole), Ashton Stelly, Dustin Stelly (Emilee), Zoe Miller, David Allen, Zina Allen, Zion Allen, Angelito Alvarez, Leo Daniel Alavarez, Victor Alvarez, Andrew Luna and Samuel Luna.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Yuma Mortuary & Crematory (775 S 5th Ave, Yuma, AZ 85364). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Quechan BIG House.
