She was predeceased by: her parents, George Maki and Hanna Maki (Alajoki); her husband Charles Knipple; her sister Mary; and her great-nephew Randy.
She is survived by: her niece Colleen Tynjala (Skaja); and her sister Joan Isaacs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear desert friends.
