He is survived by: his wife Maria Patton of Cloverdale, MN; his sons, Moe (Melvin III) and Abbie; his grandsons, Melvin IV of Cloverdale, MN, Andrew Patton of Menominee, WI and Troy Patton of Stacy, MN; his daughter Melissa Patton; and his siblings, George Ryan, Jeff Smith and Kristine Dewey. He is also survived by several other grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
