He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Faz Badilla and Jesus Badilla; and his siblings, Inez Guerin, Bertha Badilla, Sarah Badilla and Manuel Badilla Sr..

He is survived by: his children, Julie VanHaren, Eddie Badilla Jr., Tony Badilla (Brenda) and Ronnie Badilla (RaShara); his grandson Eddie Badilla III (Daisy); and his siblings, Irene DeMello, Lupe Harrigan and Daniel Badilla (Mattie). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
