He is survived by: his wife Armida Coronado; his children, Raquel Romero (George J. Romero), Javier Coronado, Veronica Santiago (Pedro Santiago), Adrian Coronado and Irene Ramirez (Live Ramirez); and his grandchildren, Pedro Santiago, George J. Romero III, Nicholas Santiago, Nyelli Coronado, Isabella Romero, Liliana Coronado, Natalie Santiago, Sofia Coronado, Vida Coronado, Samantha Coronado, Emily Ramirez and Adrian Ramirez.
A wake was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Desert Valley Mortuary Chapel (138 N Avenue B, Somerton, AZ 85350). Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (505 S Avenue B, Yuma, AZ 85364). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Desert Lawn Memorial Park (1415 S 1st Ave, Yuma, AZ 85364).
