We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2020, at the age of 77, Larrestine McKanders-Trimm of Youngtown, Arizona, born in Jackson, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Lawrence N. Trimm; her sons, David Lawrence of Phoenix, Arizona, Ian Christiann of Lansing, Michigan and Justin Larren of Lansing, Michigan; her parents, Addye Nell McKanders-Smith (Norwood) and Rev. Julius Aaron McKanders I; her brothers, Rev. Julius Aaron McKanders II and Eddie Thornton Smith; her grandchildren, Anyssa and Elijah Trimm of Lansing, Michigan; her siblings, Geralyn McKanders-Neal (Clarence) of Goodyear, Arizona, Kenneth A. McKanders (Carolyn) of Litchfield Park, Arizona, Landers McKanders of Romulus, Michigan, Brenda McKanders-Greene of Centerline, Michigan and Donna McKanders of Atlanta, Georgia.; and her friend Larrestine. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
