He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur G. Wilson and Mary H. Wilson (Eisert); his wife Darlene M. Wilson; and his stepsons, Larry and Bill Byrnes. He was also cherished by brother, four younger brothers and five younger sisters.
