He was predeceased by: his parents, Margarito Ortiz and Delores "Dora" Ortiz; his wife Rose Ortiz; and his great grandchild Xavier Rey Stansberry. He is survived by: his children, Rosemarie Laur (Michael), Joe Ortiz, Joann Ortiz, Steve Ortiz (Gina) and Sylvia Ortiz (Amy). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
