He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Perales and Jose Perales; his brother Jose Perales; and his granddaughter Grace Barber. He is survived by: his grandfather Pat; his daughters, Christina Gonzales-Jaramillo (Virgil), Roxanne Ortiz (Adrian) and Pablita Barber (Shane); and his sister Maria Perales (Francisco "Pancho" Salazar). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 great niece.
