He was predeceased by: his son Edward Padilla; and his mother Highest Level. He is survived by: his wife Bessie; his children, Albert (Cloe), Pauline Freeman (Bruce), Bobbie Colbath (late Ron), Henrietta Austin (Steve) and Bernie Vizcaya (Troy); and also, Fred Ortiz and Jerry Ortiz (Evelyn). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Catholic Church of Gallup Diocese Seminary Fund, all donations can be given to Bessie Padilla.
