He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Pettit and Lorene Pettit; his wife Linda Louise Hughes; his siblings, Billy Ray Pettit and Daphine Holleman; his siblings-in-law, Herman Holleman, Phyllis Morales and Victor "Sonny" Hughes; his nephews, Johnny and Jeff Pettit; his niece Joanna; and his great grandchild Karlee Schulte.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Pettit (Debra) of Williams, AZ and Anita Pettit (Ian James) of Williams, AZ; his close friend Allene Childress; his grandchildren, Travis Schulte (Ashley), Nichole Kennelly (Mike), Kevin Schulte, Melissa Orozco (Mario), Christina Mongeau (DJ), Jenise Pettit, Kassie Pettit, Carisa Stilwell and Joshua Pettit; his great grandchildren, Austin, Athena, Ashlynn Kennelly, Kadance, Kenzie, Paisley, Treston Orozco, Baylee Schulte, Jessah, Karsen Smith, Baby Case, Kennedy, Hayden Perdue, Brennen, Rowan Mongeau, Tristan, Arabella and Alexander Schulte; and his siblings-in-law, Jo Lawlor, Vicki Causey and Bob Findley.
