He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Laird and Tennie Laird; his siblings, Charles Laird (Delores) and Peggy Brown (Harold); and his stepsons, Richard Miller, Brit Barnes and Troy Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his stepdaughter Beth Lesley (Sam); and his grandchildren, Holli Fallbeck (Allen), Sondra Lesley and Jacob Barnes (Kathleen). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and many good friends.
