As we bid Refugio farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Refugio is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eulalio Durazo and Maria Jesus Leyva; and her husband Jose Baltierrez, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Pat Peppin, Jose Baltierrez, Jr. (Pat) and Arturo Baltierrez. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westlawn Chapel & Mortuary Inc. (105 S Arizona Ave, Willcox, AZ 85643). A rosary was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (215 W Maley St, Willcox, AZ 85643).
